DYESS AFB CHIEFS' GROUP

ARTICLE
I
Name and Purpose
1. NAME. The Dyess Chiefs’ Group is the name of this organization
and hereafter referred to as the Chiefs’ Group. The term “we”
refers to the entire Dyess Chiefs’ Group membership. The term
“Chiefs” includes all members as defined in Article IV of
this Constitution/By-Laws.
2. PURPOSE. The purpose and objective of the organization is:
• To promote TEAMWORK, communication, esprit de corps, integrity,
service before self, and excellence in all we do among professional
Chief Master Sergeants assigned to the 7 BW and tenant units.
• To identify and participate in the resolution of morale and
welfare related situations that affect the quality of life for each
other, our people, and family members.
• To help generate ideas from within our membership and act on
approved initiatives.
• To support initiatives when such initiatives fairly support/affect
a large spectrum of the wing populace.
• To provide a forum to raise, debate, evaluate, and agree upon
issues of interest and concern so there is a consensus that demonstrates
a unified position amongst the Chiefs’ Group.
• To demonstrate professional values as Chief Master Sergeants
to our junior ranks and emphasize the core meaning of duty, honor, country.
